Our bodies keep track of our lived experience and what we cannot remember. They hold and store some of our most complex and painful emotions. That's often why we “feel better” after we go for a walk or get a good night's sleep. It’s undeniable that the body and mind are interconnected in our lived emotional experience. So if we are to truly heal, and learn to have a healthy relationship with ourselves, we must learn to not separate the two for lasting health. As a therapist, it’s my job to help you safely explore your own connection to your body and mind, teach you tools to enhance your awareness around your body’s intelligence, and reinforce a deeper connection to your mind and body that empowers your daily living, positively impacting all areas of your life.
